The SFE “Get Your Shorts On”  Competition is a contest to showcase original, short films from Nova Scotia.  Entries will be judged by a panel of industry professionals using established criteria.  Finalists will be awarded prizes and their videos will be presented at a public screening.


The winner will be included in SFE's presentation of the 35rd Asbury Short Film Concert on Saturday, September 10th  at the Osprey Arts Centre.  So don't hesitate.  Click here for more details on submissions. C'mon, Nova Scotia. It's time to “get your shorts on”.

 SFE at the Movies is a film series that will feature everything from blockbusters to independent features, documentaries and children's films.  SFE at the Movies screenings are generally scheduled once a month on a Saturday evening, followed by a family-friendly Sunday matinee.
